Ellis joins an amazing line-up, performing along side The Heartless Bastards, Willy Mason, Shakey Graves, Ben Kweller and many more. Ellis hits the stage at 2pm sharp.

Ellis will perform 2 sets at 7pm and 9pm, featuring brand new material he’s currently recording, along with favorites from past albums. Tix are $10 and $15 for reserved seating, available now through Standing Sun Winery.

Many thanks to Jordan Levy for directing and shooting Matt’s new video for his recent single, “Candy”. Shot at the transforming Lincoln Place in Venice, CA, the clip follows Matt and his wife Vavine through parallel universes, separated by time.

Matt Ellis re-works Iggy Pop’s 1990 hit “CANDY”, soaking it in Pedal Steel and Banjo with his wife, Vavine, taking the female vocal. The original B-Side, “DANGERS OF THE NIGHT”, takes you on a ride through the desert night with a misfit couple looking for thrills.

The double a-side single is available online and here with a limited edition T-Shirt.

Catch Ellis with pedal steel player, Tim Walker, and his wife V at The Del Monte Speakeasy, on Tuesday June 11th, opening up for Tom Freund at 9pm.

Guitarist Josh Norton joins V and Matt the following week at The Cactus Room at The Standard Hotel, Hollywood on Wednesday June 19th. Doors are at 7:30pm and entry is free.

Tenlons Fort from Texas open up the afternoon at 4pm sharp, followed by Santa Fe’s Mr Will Courtney at 5pm. Ellis and his band hit at 6pm with Geronimo Getty closing things out at 7pm.
