Matt Ellis left Los Angeles in May 2019, relocating his family to the Hi-Desert of Southern California, one year before the Pandemic hit. "Desert Gold" is a postcard from his new home to the rest of the world.
Realizing how lucky he was to be out of the big city, he recorded this homage to his new home at home, with band members recording remotely in Australia and L.A. creating a unique sound, for a strange time.
